The Personality

[/b][/font] Mitsukuni, or "Hunny" as he is most often called, is a very friendly and kind boy. He loves cake and sweets, and can almost always be seen with a smile on his face. Because of this, it's hard to believe that he is a martial arts master in both judo and karate. Even harder to believe is his temper. Hunny has blood type AB, which results in his having a random mood swing at times- especially if he's woken up early from a nap. He also gets easily upset when people don't like cake or cute things like he does. Though Hunny might seem a bit absentminded, he is at the top of his class and is extremely intelligent. He often notices things before most others do. Overall, he is a very sweet and loyal boy who will do anything for those he cares about (and maybe even for those he doesn't know well).
APPEARANCE: Mitsukuni is rather short for his age, and has a small build as well. Do not be fooled by this, however, as he's very strong and even beat his own father in a martial arts match (so much, in fact, that he has been banned from fighting all-out in public for fear of people thinking that Japan had some kind of secret weapon for war or mass destruction). Hunny loves cute things, and this shows in his appearance as he is always carrying around his pink bunny, fondly named Usa-Chan (or Bun-Bun), that he got from his grandmother who is now deceased (making the bunny all the more special to him). At school he wears his uniform, of course, but outside of school he wears regular, casual clothing such as t-shirts and shorts if the weather is nice.

The Story

[/b][/font] His parents (his father mainly) are the heads of a martial arts family. He has a younger brother, Yasuchika, who is in middle school. He wants to get along with Chika, but his brother does not seem to like him much.
HISTORY: As the oldest of the Haninozuka clan (between himself and his brother), Mitsukuni always had great expectations put on him for continuing down the road of martial arts. He always showed excellence and since so many expectations were set on him, he was always afraid to show his true feelings (such as that he really loved cute things and cakes). He probably would have stayed this way if it were not for Tamaki Suoh. Hunny used to be the head of the karate club at Ouran High School, and one day after practice Tamaki met with him and spoke to him about the host club, telling him that it was okay to like cute things. Because of this, Hunny has always felt very grateful to Tamaki and out of everyone in the club is probably kindest and most helpful and sympathetic to him. Now, Hunny is no longer part of the karate club and devotes his time solely to the host club. This is his last year in high school.[/ul]

It was such a lovely day! The sun was high in the sky and very bright, too, which made Mitsukuni even more cheerful than usual! As he skipped along beside Takashi, he grinned up at his cousin and best friend. "I wonder what we'll do today in the club, Takashi~!" he chirped. They were just making their way down the hall toward the club room after class that Friday. "I bet Tama-chan's really excited about the party next week. I wonder if we'll be doing preparations for it today? Kyo-chan said something about it, didn't he?"

"Nn," replied Mori simply, giving a small smile before looking ahead to open the door for Hunny. As the two entered the room, Hunny hopped about on tiptoe while looking at all the cakes that had been set out. Hungrily, he tried to take one to sit down with but quickly halted when he heard his cousin's gentle- but scolding all the same- voice behind him. "Wait for the customers, Mitsukuni." at this, Hunny obeyed, but with a small, resigned sigh. "They look so good, though!~ Look, this one has strawberries on it~!" he said wonderingly as he looked fondly over at the cake decorated with his favourite fruit. "Do you think I can have that one, Takashi? The guests won't mind, will they?" he inquired thoughtfully, looking up at Mori. The smile on his cousin's face reassured him, and so with that, he hopped his way over to Tamaki while waiting for the customers to arrive. It was going to be a great day, he just knew it!
