The Personality

[/b][/font] Yumi has a deep passion for music that has been given to her from generation to generation. She loves singing and playing the guitar; everyone knows it and also everyone knows her name as one of the most famous pop stars with her twin sister. She also have an undying love for fashion, unlike her sister, she likes to dress up, and cosplay at some points. She does her hair often and you would see her with different hair styles.

Yumi appears to be quite the energetic type in front of a crowd and she is on an every day basis; happy and full of live. There is just one thing and it is that she has the fear of meeting new people and is very shy, especially when she is on her own. It is why you rarely get to talk to her one on one, her insecurities make it hard to and most of the time she ends up retreating away until she finds her sister and lets the girl do the talking until she finally trusts you.

Yumi is taller than her sister and stands on a height of 5'3. She is very thinly built though she doesn't have food problems. You can distinguish her from her sister easily considering she has various hair styles and a lighter hair color than her twin. (She loves dying her hair too). She has a unique fashion sense and it is easily to notice her in streets. She doesn't go hard on make up however, preferring to stay natural on that part.

The Story

[/b][/font] the mother is a famous singer and the father an actor; their family have a devoted passion for music and she is particularly close to her grandmother whom was her and her sister's mentor.
HISTORY: yumi has been introduced to music as early as she came to birth. her mother was a singer and wanted her daughters to continue the lineage. her grandmother was one who believed that all the girls of the Minase family were gifted with a wonderful voice, which they were happy when they heard the youngest girl's singing voice ever since she knew how to speak. ever since Yumi was discovered, her grandmother took the two twins under her wing, every summer. They would get trained to develop their musical skills day and night.

Yumi was being more passionate than her twin sister about the work and even sacrificed her time with possible friends to spend time practicing her singing, dancing and guitar skills. She had always been the shy type when on her own and so rarely socialized with others when she wasn't with her twin Yui who seemed to be more skillful than her at that.

At seven years old they gave their first shows, in front of relatively large crowds and Yumi fell in love it it right away. She continued performing and practicing music as years went by until she and her twin decided to form a band at the age of thirteen and as soon as they got heard for the first time live, they became incredibly popular and they're still are now.

Rumors have been told that they were starting high school at Ouran Academy and they were right. Yumi is a bit frightened by this even though she spends most of her class with her twin but she is relatively confident into the fact that she won't have too much trouble with the bunch of new kids she'd have to meet.
